UK SANDBAGS ANNOUNCES £250,000+ INVESTMENT IN NEW AUTOMATED BAGGING MACHINE

We were delighted to secure a major new order from UK Sandbags & Aggregates, who have announced an investment of more than £250,000 in two new automated bagging machines from Bulk Automation.

The investment represents the biggest single investment in UK Sandbags’ 12-year history. Two new machines will join their existing fleet of automated bagging plants this winter.

The two machines will provide UK Sandbags with increased production capacity, while also allowing them to expand their aggregate range and improve lead times for customers.

One of the machines is a top-of-the-range automated bagging machine. The second is a dedicated bulk bagging machine, specifically designed to widen the company’s range of aggregates.

UK Sandbags says the investment will bring faster lead times, a wider range of aggregates and the capacity to handle bigger orders than ever before.

The additional capacity will allow UK Sandbags to increase output without compromising on quality, while helping them respond to growing demand across their customer base.

The new machinery is expected to be commissioned on site in December, with the plant fully operational by January 2027.

UK Sandbags has also confirmed that contract bagging is available for customers with products requiring regular filling and bagging.
