AUTOMATED PET FOOD PACKAGING LINE FOR PERO FOODS

We recently completed the installation of a fully automated pet food packaging  Line and palletising system for Pero Foods, delivering a high-efficiency solution from bulk handling through to finished palletised goods.

The process begins with a 3m³ loading hopper, which feeds product into an integrated infeed belt and pendulum bucket elevator, ensuring smooth and controlled elevation of material throughout the system.

Product is then transferred to the automatic bagging machine (BAF-600BPS), where precision is central to performance. The system incorporates a product loading hopper, belt dosing system, and electronic net weigher to deliver accurate, consistent fills, supporting both quality control and production efficiency.

Once filled, each bag passes through a fully integrated downstream handling line, including a sealing station, bag turner, metal detection unit, square roller conveyor, transfer and pickup conveyors. These stages ensure product integrity, safe handling, and reliable flow throughout the process.

The finished bags are then automatically handled by an ABB palletising robot, which accurately stacks each bag onto pallets, ready for storage and distribution.

This installation for Pero Foods delivers a robust, hygienic, and fully automated end-to-end solution, significantly improving throughput, consistency, and operational efficiency, from bulk product intake to final palletised output.
