Introducing the BAB-240S and BAB-240R by Bulk Automation, high-speed bulk bagging systems designed for operations requiring maximum throughput and efficiency. Available with either a side-loading hopper (240S) or rear-loading hopper (240R), these machines are capable of filling up to 240 bulk bags per hour.
Building on the proven BAB-180 platform, the BAB-240 range incorporates an additional pre-weigh hopper positioned above the bagging station. While a filled bag is being removed and a new empty bag is positioned, the next batch is automatically weighed and held ready for discharge. Once the empty bag is in place, the weighed product is released immediately into the bag, significantly reducing downtime between filling cycles and maximising productivity.
This unique design allows operators to leave bags on forklift tines throughout the filling process, eliminating the need to place bags onto a weigh frame and enabling faster bag changeovers. Operated through an integrated weighing system, the BAB-240 range delivers fast, accurate and user-friendly bulk bag filling for high-volume production environments.
