Pallet Handling

The pallet gripper is a specialized device installed on the palletiser clamp, designed to facilitate the handling of empty pallets efficiently. It enables the relevant mobile “arms” to securely withdraw an empty pallet from the storage area and accurately position it within the palletising zone, ensuring smooth and precise operations.

The integration of service rollers enhances the overall functionality, allowing for the creation of a fully automated system. This automation significantly reduces stand-by times during pallet changes, increases operational efficiency, and minimizes the need for manual intervention.

Underlay Removal
The underlay gripper is another essential device mounted on the palletiser clamp. It utilizes suction cups to lift and transfer a piece of paper underlay onto the empty pallet. This can involve placing a single underlay per pallet or one for each pallet layer, providing an additional layer of protection to the finished pallet. By automating this process, the system ensures consistent placement, prevents product damage, and optimizes overall pallet stability during transport and storage.
